When my grandfather passed away I inherited his old clock. It was a far too noisy thing so I removed the clockwork itself and first turned it into an aquarium… yes I know. But after some water damage (and a leak in the aquarium) I decided to make something less.. wet. I always liked marble machines with all of their intricate parts, so I decided to make one in my grandfather clock. The marbles normally drop every hour, but for events or exhibitions I changed the timing to every five or ten minutes.
